I watched an INCREDIBLE program last night on OPB (oregon public broadcasting), about the Darwin, Australia INTERNATIONAL SOLAR CAR RACE.    I am still excited about what I saw, and renewed in my hope that students and industry are collaborating on future solutions to solving some of our biggest issues.   http://www.worldsolarchallenge.org   thats the RACE.

The RA7 is an interesting story about a car that came in 7th, designed and built by NON engineering students, but a group of students from a small liberal arts college…fascinating!  This is the link to the OPB site, and the program largely featured their JOURNEY across australia and their story of collaboration and success.
